Church of the Holy Spirit, Pühavaimu, Tallin, Estonia

On the wall of the Chancel, to the left of the Altar is this engraved brass plate mounted on a stone surround with a silhouette of HM Submarine E18, details of date and position of sinking and a list of the thirty British and three Russian officers and men who lost their lives. It bears enamelled ensigns of the Royal Navy (White Ensign) and Russian Navy (Cross of St Andrew). This memorial was unveiled and dedicated at a Service of Remembrance for the crew of E18 on 30 May 2010, the wreck having been discovered on 19 October 2009.
