HMS MEDWAY II (1942 - 1946)

Following the loss of the much-loved submarine depot ship HMS MEDWAY on 30 June 1942, a number of ships, including HMS TALBOT, HMS BAGSHOT and HMS MEDUSA took the name MEDWAY II, while serving as depot ships for various shore-based establishments called HMS MEDWAY in the Mediterranean. This name is used as the ship to which the submariners listed in this Book were assigned from 1942 until 1946.
