HMS E49 (1916 - 1917)
On sailing for patrol from Balta Sound, in the Shetlands, HMS E49 (Lt B A Beal) struck a mine on 10 March 1917, which had been laid by UC76. E49 was lost with all hands and lies in 30 metres of water with her bows blown off.
